• 70 miles south of Flathead Lake (largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River)
• 9 miles north of Travelers' Rest State Park (one of the only two locations with archaeological evidence of the Lewis and Clark expedition)

Missoula rarely gets too hot or too cold. Average daily temperature: Summer, 83 degrees, Winter 33 degrees. Humidity averages about 30% during the warmest months.
