In Mr. Peanutbutter's Boos, in a flashback from 1993, Mr. Peanutbutter is inside the closet of his new home, dressed as a hippie. Also, the house is filled with spaghetti strainers. Pickles is hungover and sitting in the bathtub. Showing he isn't oblivious to how BoJack treats him, he questions why BoJack doesn't like him. In The Dog Days Are Over, Diane wanders around Vietnam taking pictures and eating food. Mr. Peanutbutter storms off during the commercial break, unsure as to whether he should forgive BoJack. Mr. Peanutbutter then tells her it's fantastic that she has a boyfriend and wants to hear all about him. Later, Pickles and Joey finish having sex in the meat locker. He also informs BoJack he's not nominated for an Oscar. Diane then calls Mr. Peanutbutter on the phone and he sounds excited to hear from her. Mr. Peanutbutter cant remember why, but hes certain the payoff will be huge. In The Stopped Show, Mr. Peanutbutter goes to visit Diane, wanting to talk about how they had sex after the Philbert premier. They both agree to get an abortion. After Princess Carolyn tells him Mr. Peanutbutter perks his ears up when he says the correct answer, he begins to win. She goes on to say that your whole life is a puzzle with pieces that don't quite fit. BoJack tells her he's on the phone, and Diane timidly apologizes and walks away. A life of success, wealth, and fame meant Mr. Peanutbutter has never faced any real challenges or had to make difficult decisions, leaving him almost completely inept in the real world. Joey then apologizes for being awful to Pickles earlier and says since Mr. Peanutbutter has been such a good friend it would be weird having sex with his fiance but once they were in it it felt like "two naked hearts raw and exposed but safe in the home they found in each other." While sitting in a circle listening to Doug tell a story about lying, cheating, and stealing, Mr. Peanutbutter asks if Doug ever told his wife about the cheating. She throws her engagement ring back at Mr. Peanutbutter, yelling "unsubscribe!" Mr. Peanutbutter says he could proposition some young men on set. He's saying to her "What do you mean, a duel? Mr. Peanutbutter is upset by this news and asks Captain Peanutbutter if he's sure everything will be OK. Captain Peanutbutter tells him "one day [Mr. Peanutbutter] will have to be the captain." He says if she told her that, he would have listened. He thanks her and says they got picked up for more episodes, but Diane reveals she isn't going back to Philbert. Pickles reluctantly takes back the ring saying that she supposes they could put it behind them if it only happened one time. Meanwhile, at MBN, Pinky reveals he got promoted to head of programming, as Wanda left MBN and got hired by another network and moved to Detroit. She's not too bothered by this, because they'll still look cute together.
